To create your unit, make sure you have first created a building since this step is only available when the building is already created.

Short version

  • From the dashboard, click on Access buildings.
  • Select the building for which you want to add a unit.
  • Click Add Unit, which is right below your building name, in the left column.
  • You can Create a new unit or Duplicate a unit.
  • Click on Next.
  • Enter the basic information about the unit, ie, address, door number, rent of accommodation, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and you can add a description if necessary.
  • Click on Next.

The information in section E of the lease is requested. Some mandatory boxes are checked by default at the expense of the tenant. You can change them, or leave them at the tenant's expense.

  • Click on Next.

Subsequently, you can Save and close your unit or click Next to continue to the full version and add more details regarding snow removal, parking, appliances, etc. You can also add photos of your unit!


Full version

  • Click on Next.
  • Add, if applicable, information for parking lots and other outbuildings.
  • Click on Next.
  • Select whether the unit you are creating has the location needed for certain household appliances. If you are renting the furnished or semi-furnished unit, check the items that are included, under the Included column.
  • Click on Next.
  • If applicable, add the furniture rented and included in the rent by clicking on the +, under the Quantity column.
  • Click on Next.
  • Add, if applicable, the information of the concierge linked to the unit.

You will see a menu appear on the screen to select the concierge contact. If it is not already part of your Bloc Solutions contact book, add it by clicking on the blue + button that appears to the right of the contact search bar. Once created, select it to add it to this unit (its information will be added to section E of the lease in the Concierge Services section.


  • You can also add the area by clicking on Unit area.
  • Check the items that apply to the unit.
  • Click on Next.
  • Select the other amenities that are included in the rent.
  • Click on Next.

You can then import photos from your device to add it to the unit. The photos can be used by you and by all users of your business (except tenants). These photos will also be used for posting the ad when you post your unit.

  • Click Save to create your unit.

Your unit is now created! 

You can access it at any time under the Building Management module in the navigation bar on the left of your screen.


You now have all the necessary elements to create an electronic lease on Bloc Solutions!
